L'amoureuse des grands chemins
Collection of poems by Clarisse

There are readings, as there are encounters in life, that catch you deeply and hold your heart and your spirit.

This is the case with the collection of poems that you are holding in your hands, the third opus of Clarisse, L'amoureuse des grands chemins.

From one page to another, you will be seduced by this invincible writing that reveals hints of eroticism through a mystical rhythm.

So seldom do we use the expression "And the Word became flesh" when reading these poems. This literary work reflects the ethics of our time in deep and precious fragments by broadening the consensus and avoiding a sterile academism.

Quintessence of the feminine word, this book will change your life forever, as it did before for the readers of Les fleurs du mal from Charles Baudelaire.

L'amoureuse des grands chemins, from Clarisse, is truly a destined, essential book.

Clarisse (1970) was born in Pointe-Noire, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. She has been living in Paris since her childhood and has been working as an Executive Assistant within an international company. She wrote her first poems as she was sixteen years old. CLE published her previous two books, Je t'aime & autres poèmes (1986-2006) and Pointe Noire (2009).
